Dennis Kirk offers the largest assortment of aftermarket parts, accessories and apparel in the powersports industry, with over 125,000 different items available. If you are unfamiliar with how to use our website, it may make finding the product you are looking for difficult.

Please take a few moments to read the following information to learn how to use the different functions available and quickly find what the products you want.

Searching our site for products

There are four different ways of searching our site. You will find these functions in the Find What You Want box on the right hand side of the page.

• Right Side Search Navigation
  General Search. In this area you can enter any keyword/words or part numbers and the search engine will return any matches it finds on our site. Results are displayed in two different ways. The top section will show search results by catalog and category. The bottom section will show results by brand. From there you can select how to drill down into the specific products related to your search.
• Make/Model/Year Search. This is the most powerful search tool you will find when shopping for parts that fit your specific machine. Enter the make, model and year of your machine. The system then returns a listing (by category) of all the parts that are specifically listed for your machine. If you register then you can save your machines and it will be easier to select them the next time you return to our site. Please be aware that we carry thousands of parts that universally fit non-model specific machines. These types of products include luggage, spark plugs, tires and many other items. These items will not be displayed as part of a make/model/year search.
• Browse by Brand. When you know the brand of product you are looking for, use the browse by brand function. Select a catalog and get a listing of all the brands in that catalog. When you find the brand you want to shop, click on it and it will produce a category listing that contains only products of the brand you are shopping for.
• New Products. If you're looking for the latest products available, start with the new products function. Select a catalog, and get listings of categories and brands with new products, as well as searching for new products available in a make/model/year search.

Shopping for product by Catalog and Category

You can also shop by catalog and category or browse (similar to paging through a catalog). You will find the catalogs listed at the top of each page.

When you mouse over a catalog you will be shown categories in that catalog. You can then select a category and begin shopping. To change categories when browsing, select a new one from the section on the left hand side of the page.

Shopping for merchandise in our Outlet Store

Use our Outlet Store catalog when shopping for recently discontinued and discounted merchandise. Shopping the Outlet store via the navigation on the top and left will display only Outlet items. Regardless of how you search, or if you're in our Main store or Outlet store, any item that is discontinued will be clearly marked with "Special Closeout Pricing!" Also, items that have been placed in our Outlet Store will have their prices in red. Regularly priced merchandise will have their prices in black.

Product listing and detail pages

DennisKirk.Com's product listing and detail pages have been designed to provide an easier shopping experience. We hope to provide a simple to navigate structure that will reduce the number of pages required for a particular product. Below is information about the product listing and detail pages, as well as individual features available.

Product Listing page:

• Narrow Your Results
  Narrow Your Results allows multiple selections of an option. For example, if you want to see both Metzeler and Michelin tires, you can narrow all tires to show just those two brands. Previously you would have to narrow results to show just Metzeler or just Michelin.
  
• Sort Feature
  Sort your results. Use the menu at the top of the listings to sort products by price (high to low or low to high), or alphabetically by product or brand name(A to Z or Z to A).
  
• Pagination
  Page results. You can either click the arrow button to go to the next or previous page. Or you can enter the page you want to go to and click "Go". You can also change the number of products on a page to either 10, 20 or 50 items per page.
  
• Product Listing display
  Product information. Black prices are for regular priced items while red is for closeout priced items. Also, if an item is on closeout, you will see the notation "Special Closeout Pricing!". You may also see a range of prices for a product, which will show the lowest and highest prices for that product. You will also see an area that says "Available in a number of variations." This number could be available sizes for this item, as well as different colors or fitments.
  

Product Detail page:
The Product Detail page has been designed to help you find what you need easily and quickly. The following is a list of the features on this page.

• Product Detail
  First, we've increased the size of the product image so you can get a better initial view of the product that interests you.
• Directly below the main image is a link that says Alternate Images. This link will open a popup window that contains a larger version of the image as well as links to any additional images for that product.
• Some products may also have smaller thumbnail photos underneath the main product image. These images are linked to additional versions of that product. In the example at right, the thumbnails show the additional colors available for a particular helmet. Click a thumbnail image and the larger photo will update to show the new item, and the rest of the information on the page will update as well.
• Next to the main product image is the Order Info area. In this area you will find the Dennis Kirk part number, the manufacturer part number (if available), selection boxes to choose the various attributes of the product you want to purchase, such as color, size, etc., quantity in stock, quantity you'd like to order, item price and the buttons to add the item to your cart or wish list. Above the order info area is the price range of the product. There may be a price range depending if there are different prices for different attribute combinations.

  As you change the options in the various selection boxes, the main product photo will change if there is a different photo for that exact product. For example, if you are looking at helmets, the image may show a black helmet. Then if you change the color to red, the photo will change to show the red helmet. In addition, the price in the order info area will update to reflect your choices as well. So if a size Large shirt costs $20, but an XL costs $22, the price will automatically update to give you the accurate price for the exact item you're ordering.

• Below the product photo, thumbnails and order information is an area with tabs across the top. Included in these tabs are Overview, Specs, Fitment, Images, Sizing and Send to a Friend. The Overview gives a general description for the item. The Specs tab gives information such as weight, attributes (color, size, etc.) and part numbers. The Fitment tab, if applicable, supplies make model and year information for the active part number. The Images tab will show all images available for a particular part number. In the example at right, changing the thumbnail photo (or part number in the order info area), will change the tabbed information to match that particular item. Sizing info will show the size chart, if applicable, for the brand of the product. Send to Friend allows you to quickly email a friend the information of the selected item.

Using our quick order function

Quick Order Navigation
In the lower right hand corner of our website pages you will find a quick order form. If you already know the part number or numbers you want to order, all you have to do is enter them into the form with a quantity and select add to cart. This means you don't actually have to find the product on the website which saves a great deal of time. This is the quickest and easiest way to order on our website.
