By swapping both the headers and the slip-ons, the amount of airflow can be dramatically impacted. Choosing a more free-flowing system can greatly improve performance. When doing this upgrade, it is also important to address the fuel tune and air cleaner. The engine needs more air/fuel to be allowed into it to make use of the performance exhaust system. When all done in conjunction, you will really notice a difference over your stock setup.

Style and sound are other considerations to make when choosing Harley exhaust systems. The header design and shape and color of the slip-ons all make a difference.
