Fuel injection has allowed the bikes to deliver the proper air/fuel mixture without having to find the correct jets. But the mapping is not always perfect, especially if you make any modifications to your Harley. Installing a fuel processor/tuner on your Harley can deliver the best fuel map possible, which in turn, can give you the best performance possible.

Any time you make a performance modification, you should strongly consider a fuel remap. In many cases, it is absolutely necessary. Stage 1 mods are most common. These include freer flowing exhausts and air cleaners. Because stage 1 mods allow more air to enter and leave the engine, you need to increase the amount of fuel as well to prevent a lean condition. With the right fuel tuner, you can remap your bike to match the mods that you have made to deliver the optimal air/fuel mixture. A fuel processor can also be beneficial on a stock Harley.
